Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings, utilizing standardized measures to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services to adolescents and families facing a variety of psychological and emotional challenges, such as anxiety, trauma, and family dynamics.

• Develop and facilitate therapy groups and workshops addressing critical subjects like self-esteem, emotional regulation, and coping strategies, ensuring engaging and participative sessions.

• Collaborate effectively with community organizations, school systems, and the healthcare team to ensure cohesive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.

• Participate in outreach initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns and community wellness events aimed at promoting resilience and prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily adolescents and their families. Our patients often experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. This role is deeply rooted in understanding the unique cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of our clients and tailoring interventions that resonate with their specific experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
