Work Environment\n

This position is a full-time remote role, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a robust connection with a supportive outpatient office. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client availability. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans, taking into consideration their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences, leveraging evidence-based practices.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide continuous education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their coping abilities.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress throughout the treatment process, using data to inform necessary adjustments in treatment plans.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to mental health care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders, incorporating new insights into practice to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, tailored for mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
