Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs. Despite the remote setting, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment, facilitating ongoing communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, taking into account severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that incorporate their personal goals, preferences, and the latest therapeutic modalities.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and involvement in the healing process.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as needed based on individual responses and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that optimally benefits clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on current research and best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions, contributing to a culture of shared knowledge and clinical excellence.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to diminish the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promote understanding within the community.

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by mood disorders, including those struggling with varying degrees of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LCSW-R, Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York State.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying life experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
