Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing our advanced telehealth platform. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend shifts required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and treatment preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to meet each client's specific needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies to enhance understanding and facilitate recovery.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evidence and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to provide high-quality, informed care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and provide the highest standard of care.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders while striving to reduce stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will engage with a variety of clients from different backgrounds, enhancing your knowledge and expertise in handling diverse psychological profiles and challenges. This role is crucial in facilitating their recovery and improving their quality of life through tailored therapeutic support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the capability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in providing therapy through telehealth platforms is a plus. A proven track record of effective treatment outcomes in mood disorder cases will be highly valued, along with demonstrated competency in managing complex cases and a strong ability to engage clients in their treatment process.
