You will have regular access to supervision and team meetings, using telehealth platforms where necessary to conduct therapy sessions effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through preliminary interviews to establish a baseline of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• iDevelop detailed treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals set by each client.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities as appropriate, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment course, adjusting interventions and strategies based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
\n
• Provide thorough documentation and case management from initial consultation through the completion of treatment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing skills to manage acute conditions and referring clients to emergency services when required.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and addressing mental health challenges, enhancing their capacity to aid in client recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and behavioral concerns. Our practice is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive therapy, respecting each client's unique background while addressing the complex layers of their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, ideally within an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to enhance clinical documentation and client engagement.

• Knowledge of addiction recovery resources and underlying health conditions impacting mental health.

• Understanding of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices to ensure compliance and quality care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for the position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
