Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, which allows for flexibility in balancing work and personal commitments. Our telehealth facility ensures that our counselors have access to advanced technology and resources necessary for effective virtual therapy. You will enjoy a work-life balance with structured hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and have the opportunity to participate in occasional evening and weekend sessions on a rotating schedule, aimed at accommodating client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, measuring severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address symptoms and promote recovery.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, available treatments, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care and holistic support to clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research in the field to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the de-stigmatization of mental health issues and raising awareness for their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of individuals from diverse backgrounds, delivering culturally responsive care that respects each client’s unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of New York.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders.

• Demonstrated history of successful treatment outcomes in managing clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , in addition to potential bonuses. We are also pleased to offer a sign-on bonus to help you start your journey with us on the right foot.
