Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, facilitating a better understanding of their psychological state.

• Implement therapeutic interventions based on recognized practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorder symptoms effectively.

• Track client progress meticulously, modifying treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will collaborate with a diverse patient base, allowing you to apply culturally competent approaches while addressing each individual’s unique experience and treatment requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience focused on mood disorders is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Proven success in delivering positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses. We also offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates who join our team.
