Transcendent Healing Therapeutic Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) with a specialization in mood disorders to enhance our outpatient therapeutic team located in Queens Village, New York. This remote position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, in addition to a sign-on bonus.

This position offers a full-time, largely remote work setting, providing flexibility while still engaging with clients in an outpatient office environment when necessary. The practice is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Collaborate actively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that consider their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring that they play a central role in their care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to each client's unique context.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for self-care, promoting understanding and hope.

• Monitor and document clients' progress, making informed adjustments to therapeutic strategies based on their feedback and observable outcomes.

• Maintain close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated approach to care that encompasses both therapeutic and medical interventions.

• Stay informed about advancements in the field of mood disorders to continuously enhance treatment approaches; participate in continuing education and training programs.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of client encounters, assessments, and treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.
