Work Environment\n

This full-time position is facilitated within a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining access to our supportive outpatient office team. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts as required by patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking care.

• Lead individual counseling sessions using approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure that all aspects of a patient's treatment are aligned.

• Provide crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, employing quick, effective strategies to stabilize situations for optimal safety.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, explore recovery strategies, and introduce community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 115,000 and USD 130,000 annually, reflecting the skills and experience you bring to our team. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to South Bay Counseling Services.
