Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate symptom severity and the nuances of mood disorders in clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, based on their unique circumstances, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat mood disorders.

• Offer education and support to both clients and their families regarding treatment options, management of mood disorders, and self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress during therapy sessions; assess the effectiveness of interventions and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research, tools, and methodologies in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic techniques and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills.

• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs, aiming to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders within and outside the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position centers around a diverse patient population primarily suffering from mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder, as well as associated anxiety-related conditions. You will work closely with individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client while fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
