Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, utilizing a telehealth model that allows you to connect with clients from various backgrounds comfortably and effectively. Our virtual clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate smooth consultations and is designed to provide a secure and supportive atmosphere for clients and therapists alike. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend commitments on a rotating basis to accommodate client availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorders on clients' daily lives, using standardized assessment tools and interview techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and treatment needs, ensuring active participation in their healing process.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on addressing symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Offer ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and self-care techniques essential for managing their conditions.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress through active check-ins and adapt treatment plans as needed based on their feedback and evolving needs.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide integrated care and optimize treatment outcomes.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices related to mood disorders to continually refine approaches and enhance patient care.
\n
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate records of all interactions, assessments, and treatment documentation.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing clinical insights and strategies to improve overall team effectiveness and client care.

• Advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders in the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on working with clients facing mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clientele is diverse, representing a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and we are committed to providing culturally competent care tailored to meet each individual’s needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience post-licensure, specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, along with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology to enhance collaboration with psychiatric colleagues.

• Demonstrated capacity to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a competitive sign-on bonus to support your transition into our organization.
