Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intake sessions to assess client needs and determine suitable treatment interventions, building a strong therapeutic alliance from day one.

• Perform thorough diagnostic assessments and engage clients in detailed case history discussions to formulate precise and effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address mood disorders, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide ongoing therapeutic services, tailoring counseling techniques to meet the unique needs of each client while maintaining a manageable caseload.

• Regularly monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance the effectiveness of interventions.

• Maintain professional and accurate documentation of all case activities, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and record-keeping.

• Participate in client case consults with multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create cohesive treatment strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary between USD 90,000 and USD 100,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
