Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building strong rapport while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to monitor client stability, facilitate progress reviews, and coordinate discharge planning when appropriate.

• Design, execute, and assess individualized treatment plans that reflect the personal goals and needs of clients.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including timely progress notes and treatment updates for each client, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

• Perform intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in weekly individual therapy sessions tailored to support clients' mental health goals and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Participate in individual supervision, contributing to professional development through feedback and collaborative learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele served by our clinic includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, and other psychiatric disorders. Our LMHC will play a crucial role in working with patients from diverse backgrounds, focusing on culturally relevant and individualized approaches to therapy that prioritize client agency and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or in substance abuse programs is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
