Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and personal goals, laying the groundwork for tailored mindfulness practices.

• Deliver evidence-based mindfulness-based interventions, primarily focusing on MBSR techniques, to aid clients in achieving stress reduction and enhanced emotional regulation.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, guiding clients toward greater self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Design and lead group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies, encouraging community and shared growth among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to client care and treatment plans.

• Document client progress meticulously, tracking mindfulness interventions and the effectiveness of treatment on a consistent basis.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development activities to continually refine your skills in MBSR and other therapeutic approaches.

Your primary focus will be working with diverse populations, including individuals coping with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Strong foundation in mindfulness practices, particularly MBSR, is preferred, with an emphasis on therapeutic integration into clinical practice.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of establishing a calming, empathetic, and supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.
