Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individual patients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, with an emphasis on resilience-building and skill development.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions designed to encourage connection and sharing among trauma survivors, fostering a sense of community and support.

• Provide crisis intervention resources and support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and important community resources that can aid in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring a thorough clinical record for each patient.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, combat veterans, and those who have faced significant life-altering events. The majority of our patients are seeking help for PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in fostering a judgement-free space where clients can openly discuss their experiences and work toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating strong knowledge and competence in trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, along with exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
