Location 25480 W. Cedarcrest Lane, Lake Villa, IL 60046 Work Schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm with possible flex scheduling. Occasional evenings or weekends, as needed. Performing on‑call functions. Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities Supervises staff engaged in delivering nursing services, such as conducting comprehensive assessments, taking vitals, interviewing prospective clients, and completing client admission forms and medical history. Coordinates nursing processes and audits medical records for accuracy. Ensures compliance with intake and medical policies and procedures and contractual requirements. Act as liaison with physicians, psychiatrists, and other medical professionals to assure appropriate care. Evaluates complex cases and works with the clinical treatment team to devise appropriate treatment responses. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of hire required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum five years of work experience as an RN in a social service environment or related field required. Minimum one year of supervisory experience required. Concurrent experience with relevant client populations (adult, youth, or outpatient) preferred. Physical Requirements Normal or corrected vision, and some color vision, required to read thermometers, blood pressure gauges, dipstick analysis results, and to evaluate symptoms and injuries. Communication abilities necessary to gather and exchange information with clients and staff in person or by telephone, provide care instructions, and schedule appointments. Proofreading and checking documents for accuracy, and reading reports, on a regular basis. Ability to respond to telephone, pages and intercoms. Manual dexterity necessary to manipulate instruments and syringes, apply bandages or sterile wipes, and handle instruments and specimens; touch sensitivity necessary to detect pulse, palpate body areas, and perform treatments with minimal client discomfort. Depending on Center assigned, ability to drive vehicle to various locations. Ability to stoop and bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, and walk and move about for up to two hours at a time. Compensation (based on experience and credentials) Range begins at $72,038 – $114,829 annually. Gateway Foundation conducts annual reviews including merit increases.
