We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support key client accounts in Rockleigh, New Jersey within the high-tech electronics industry. This Long-term Contract position focuses on delivering responsive account support, coordinating with sales and internal teams, and helping customers navigate order, shipping, and service-related needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex requests, communicating clearly across departments, and maintaining a high level of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with major customer accounts while partnering closely with the sales organization to support ongoing business needs.
• Address complex customer concerns and ownership of escalated issues, ensuring timely follow-through and clear communication through resolution.
• Provide account support throughout both pre-sale and post-sale activities, helping customers and sales teams with order-related questions, service requests, and account coordination.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving orders, returns, delivery timelines, and logistics to maintain a smooth customer experience.
• Monitor account activity, research relevant information in company databases, and prepare updates or reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate urgent requests such as rush orders, shipment changes, and sales order adjustments while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with fulfillment, production, shipping, finance, technical support, and other internal teams to remove obstacles and keep transactions on track.
• Contribute at trade shows and industry events as needed to support customer engagement and broader sales efforts.• High school diploma required; additional college education is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills; familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP platforms is preferred.
• Comfortable using collaboration and communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, or Zoom.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, sales partners, and internal departments.
• Capable of understanding and communicating technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
• Proven ability to stay organized, think creatively, and perform well under pressure in a collaborative environment.
