Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2020 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:1 year minimum with at least 1 travel assignment completed.Start IVs.Insert Foley catheters.Insert NG tubes.Experience performing EKGs.Experience with heparin drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Experience with 1:6 patient ratio, with high turnover.

Shift&Scheduling:Weekends as needed.No call.

Floating Requirements:Rare and unlikely– may need to float to inpatient rehab or ER to task.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
