Electrical Helper / Apprentice - $17+/hr + Career Growth

Looking to get into the electrical trade or build on your construction experience? We're hiring Electrical Helpers to work alongside experienced electricians on commercial projects throughout the area. Great opportunity to learn a skilled trade with a company that promotes from within.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist electricians with installations and repairs

• Pull wire and help install conduit

• Support installation of lighting, outlets, switches, and electrical equipment

• Use drills and other hand tools on active jobsites

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials

• Organize tools and maintain a safe work area

What We're Looking For

• Experience using a drill and basic hand tools

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Experience That's a Plus

• Construction experience

• Electrical experience

• Conduit bending experience

• Wire pulling or installation experience

• Blueprint reading experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
