Security Account Manager

Overview Join to apply for the Security Account Manager role at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Base pay range $23.00/hr - $23.00/hr Responsibilities Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensures post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and the client in emergency situations. Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions; seeks advice from management as appropriate. Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates. Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated. Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management or designated representatives. Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required. Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities. Meets with client representatives to provide assurance that security requirements are met and to deliver quality customer service. Performs supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; coaching and appraising performance; addressing complaints; and making hiring/termination recommendations. May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy. Education/Experience High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred. Competencies May be required to hold and continue to meet applicable state, county and municipal security licenses. Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services. Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures. Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance. Understanding of security devices and controls. Ability to learn quickly and follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions. Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments. Ability to be an effective team member and maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures; ability to write routine logs and reports. Working Conditions With or without reasonable accommodation, perform essential functions. Mental and physical demands include multi-tasking, writing, observation, and communication with clients and staff. May require overtime, background checks, and licensing requirements as applicable.
