About This Role The Nurse Residency Program at Shady Grove Medical Center is a year-long experience designed to support new graduates in their transition to professional nursing practice. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 Location: Rockville, MD Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center Schedule: Full-time with occasional weekends and holidays What You'll Do Attend all assigned learning activities and clinical experiences. Complete all clinical and classroom assignments with a minimum passing grade of 80%. Rotate shifts according to program and/or preceptor’s schedule. Be responsible for all costs associated with required books, materials, equipment, and transportation. Work closely with preceptor, CNS, educators, and program coordinator to maximize learning. Participate in regular evaluation sessions to provide feedback on performance and the Nurse Residency Program. Complete an Evidence-Based Practice Project prior to program completion. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited ASN, BSN, or MSN program within 12 months prior to cohort start date is required. Experience: No previous RN or LPN experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed as an RN in the state of MD or compact state is required prior to start date. BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
