Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking a passionate RBT to join our growing team of clinicians. Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) & Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Treatments involve developmental screening, therapy evaluations, and habilitation services for children with documented developmental disabilities or delays, and other medical needs. Services are provided by licensed professionals including Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and licensed psychologists, as well as developmental/psychological testing, nutritional and audiological evaluations. We typically treat children from birth to Kindergarten and, during summer, we include elementary school‑aged children with special needs. Qualifications Education / Certification Current registration as a Registered Behavior Technician Experience / Knowledge Required One year of successful experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience Essential Functions & Basic Duties Provide direct patient care in individual and group settings utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training. Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable patient behavior. Assist with parent and caregiver training and communication as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Use safe and appropriate procedures when working with patients. Maintain client confidentiality. Prepare patient materials as instructed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Keep technical knowledge up to date by attending required trainings. Complete, sign, and submit service notes for each session in correct format. Perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned. Skills / Abilities Effective communication with a wide variety of people. Ability to work with children between birth and 6 years old who are at risk. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Basic computer skills: database, word processing, spreadsheet, internet software. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents; write routine reports and correspondence. Apply common sense to execute instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Problem‑solving involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
