Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures while explaining each process empathetically
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
• Keep accurate documentation of procedures and maintain meticulous patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely-related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification accredited by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
