Responsibilities:

• Enforce GMP, food safety, and security requirements across assigned areas.
• Verify compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Milk receiving: complete paperwork, perform sampling, temperature checks, butter fat testing, acidity testing, pH testing, and organoleptic evaluation.
• Ingredient and kettle checks: complete paperwork, temperature checks, salt testing, Brix testing, pH and viscosity testing, RS View kettle release, and organoleptic evaluation.
• Filler operations: complete paperwork, temperature checks, verify metal detector and X-ray, perform seal and code checks, weight checks, and collect retain samples.
• Packing operations: complete paperwork, temperature and code checks, labeling checks, packaging evaluations, and organoleptic evaluations.
• Micro and lab testing: collect samples of water and for listeria; plate and incubate micro samples including milk, eggs, shelf-life, and environmental samples.
• Pre-operation checks: complete paperwork, perform ATP and allergen swabbing, magnet checks, cooler checks, and sanitizer concentration verification.
• Use decision-making to place items on hold and determine if in-process product meets specification for pumping.
• Instruct employees on GMP and food safety violations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate with associates, leads, supervisors, and production management.
• Detail orientation and teamwork.
• Willingness to work extended shifts as business needs require.
• Ability to comprehend science-based material and high school level math, including algebra.
