Corporate Security Executive - Security Intelligence Executive Bank of America – Charlotte, NC Overview We are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. This senior leader leads a global corporate security function that protects employees, facilities, and assets. The role develops strategy, coordinates with local and enterprise leadership, law enforcement, regulatory and industry counterparts, and advises senior executives on risk‑informed decision‑making. Responsibilities Develop overall security strategy, policies, and standards for the physical security of employees, visitors, clients and bank property/assets. Plan and prepare for crisis response, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Apply professional best practices in administering physical security and life safety programs. Organize resources to achieve the group's goals and objectives. Identify and report significant issues, developing recommendations to senior management. Maintain business relationships with all lines of business, ensuring clarity of roles and escalation. Collaborate with federal, state, local law enforcement and regulatory industry counterparts to create robust security and life safety programs. Define and execute the enterprise‑wide security intelligence strategy aligned to global risk dynamics. Lead, develop, and scale a global team of Intelligence Analysts, Researchers and Travel Safety Specialists. Establish intelligence priorities, collection requirements and analytic standards. Oversee continuous monitoring of geopolitical, criminal, cyber, reputational and environmental threats. Assess immediate and emerging risks, translating them into actionable insights. Provide forward‑looking analysis on global trends for risk management and business continuity. Lead the Protective Intelligence program to mitigate threats to the Executive Management Team. Oversee monitoring and analysis of potential threats to executives. Collaborate with Executive Protection, Major Events Security, Threat Management, Cyber, HR, Legal and Communications. Use technology and AI to improve risk response. Deliver real‑time intelligence analysis and briefings to executive leadership during critical incidents. Serve as key advisor in crisis management structures. Produce executive‑level reporting and briefings. Build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders and external agencies. Influence business leaders on risk mitigation via intelligence insights. Facilitate opportunities for inclusion, data‑driven decision making, talent management, and financial stewardship as part of managerial responsibilities. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in intelligence, security, risk management or related fields with significant leadership responsibility. Proven experience leading global intelligence or risk teams within a complex, multinational organization. Expertise in geopolitical risk analysis, threat intelligence and crisis support. Experience advising senior executives and influencing high‑stakes decisions. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex information. Strong executive communication and briefing skills for non‑technical audiences. Deep understanding of global threat landscapes, including geopolitical, physical security, reputational and executive risk domains. Capability to operate under pressure and in fast‑moving or ambiguous situations. Strong leadership and talent development skills. Strategic mindset; anticipates emerging risks. Decisive and calm under pressure. Enterprise orientation, balancing security priorities with business objectives. Trusted advisor with credibility to executive stakeholders. Innovative leader; continuously evolves intelligence capabilities.
