Medical Assistant

Overview

The Clinical Neuroscience Institute - MVHS is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Premier Physician Network. Schedule: Days, 80 hours per pay. The CMA will see patients and perform general clinical and procedural patient care under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. Our CMAs are integral to delivering excellent patient experience, every patient, every time.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform procedures as assigned, including rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain attention to detail and provide excellent documentation as part of ongoing expectations.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
2. Certified Medical Assistant credential; graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
3. Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred.
4. Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
5. Self-motivated to achieve high standards in patient care and customer service.
6. CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment.
