The unit has 13 beds and a staff of 40, with flexible staffing on day and night shifts. Patient ratios are 1:3 to 1:4, expanding as needed based on circumstances. The emergency department is a non-trauma center. Typical procedures performed in the unit align with general emergency department practices. Preferred candidates are open, collaborative, and have a fun personality. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Those with the preferred skills will be prioritized in the hiring process.
