About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to oversee and optimize all supply chain activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, strengthening, and evolving the supply chain system to ensure it is reliable and scalable, supporting the production of advanced robotic systems. This role is pivotal in the integration of engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, and the Head of Supply Chain will be at the forefront of making strategic decisions regarding vendors, costs, and build strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in robotics or manufacturing, with a focus on SIOP, and must be adept at scaling hardware from prototype to production, sourcing across various manufacturing processes, and managing contract manufacturers. Applicants for the Head of Supply Chain position at the company should have a minimum of 8-15 years' experience in supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing, with a proven track record of taking ownership of cost, timelines, and outcomes. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, can operate with agility, and is capable of moving quickly without being hindered by heavy processes. A deep supplier network and experience in robotics, automotive, or industrial hardware are highly desirable. The Head of Supply Chain will be instrumental in the company's mission to revolutionize the tire changing and wheel servicing industry through the deployment of cutting-edge robotic systems.
