Partner Manager

We're looking for a Partner Success Manager (think sales, business development, and account management) to join our Madison team. This is a relationship-first sales role for someone who enjoys building trust, growing accounts, and helping our partners solve talent challenges. You'll inherit existing partnerships, earn the opportunity to expand them, and join one of Wisconsin's fastest-growing recruiting firms. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long‑term career in business development. You'll work directly with our leadership team, gain exposure to strategic client partner relationships, and have the opportunity to grow your portfolio directly. What you’ll do: Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of client partners’ talent acquisition needs. You’ll start with existing, developing accounts and grow your portfolio over time. Bring a white-glove, consultative approach; not just an ‘order-taker’ – build deep relationships across each partner organization and identify opportunities to further the relationship. New Business Development – research, prospect, and grow the greater Madison area market via lead generation, cold calls, personal/professional networks, and other sales activity; maintain a pipeline of net‑new opportunities. Meet and exceed activity and sales goals. Consultant Management – ensure our Consultants are engaged, supported, and adding value. Navigate additional opportunities for Carex to add value within existing partnerships. Act as the liaison between partners and the recruiting team. Fully understand partner needs/roles and document properly in our ATS, Bullhorn. Facilitate the interview/selection process with client partners and the recruiting team (coordinate and schedule interviews, support salary negotiation, onboarding, etc.). Attend networking events to build Carex’s presence and brand in the Greater Madison area (and beyond). Learn and understand our partner’s business models and strategic initiatives to offer creative solutions in a consultative manner. Participate in the development of proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships. As your portfolio matures, manage QBRs or other quality/metrics reports for your client partners. In Your First Year You Will: Build trusted relationships with your initial portfolio of client partners. Develop a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities. Successfully support consultant placements and ongoing engagement. Become a trusted advisor to both partners and internal recruiting teams. Consistently achieve activity and revenue goals. What you’ll bring: 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, and/or recruiting (staffing & recruiting, HR services, payroll, or other related business-to-business experience) Proven track record of attaining growth goals/metrics Results oriented; an intangible hunger to help our partners grow and help Carex achieve our goals Must live in the greater Madison area – this is a hybrid role An intrinsic drive to provide a best-in‑class experience for our partners, consultants and candidates Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required What it’s like to work at Carex: “Care.
