Job Description
Perform payroll and bookkeeping services for multiple clients of a certified public accounting firm. 2-4 years relevant experience as well as experience with QuickBooks preferred. Typical duties performed for clients include:
- preparing weekly and bi-weekly payroll checks including calculation and payment of related taxes
- preparing quarterly Federal, State Unemployment, and State withholding tax return filings
- preparing annual payroll tax filings including W-2's and 1099 Forms
- calculating and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax filings
- pay bills and other bookkeeping services requested by client
A professional demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to multi-task are a must.
