Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)13-week Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) assignment working 8-hour variable day shifts (Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Every third weekend is required, with rounds completed from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, after which the technician remains on call if work is completed early. No holiday rotation is required. The SPT will support the Sterile Processing Department by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, and prepared for patient care. Floating to affiliated locations may be required based on staffing needs.Requirements:Active Sterile Processing certification requiredCurrent AHA or American Red Cross BLS certificationAssociate Degree, Certificate, or equivalent Sterile Processing experience preferredMinimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferredKnowledge of decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage proceduresAbility to float to affiliated locations as neededStrong attention to detail, organization, and infection prevention practicesMust reside outside the required facility radius at the time of assignmentJob Board Disclaimer: We are an equal opportunity employer.
