Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Start Date: 9/28/2026, Ongoing. Over 20 shifts/month open. Mostly single coverage with some shift overlap. Double coverage with two APCs. Flexible with the number of locums. Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
• Job Setting: Outpatient. Coverage also requested at regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Two smaller critical access hospitals within thirty minutes. Level 4 Trauma facility.
• Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine. Patients per shift: 17-23. Beds in department: 15. Admission rate approximately 20%. Admissions required. Newborn deliveries received in the ED. L&D department on site. 24-hour support services available: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology.
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: RNs: 2-4; PA/NPs: 2; Office Staff: 1
• Call: No Call

Minimum Requirements

• Provider Type: Physician
• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Licensure: Licensed in Wisconsin. Will consider IMLC
• Fellowship: Required
• Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days. Temporary privileges available. Facility will not reimburse for licensing costs.
• Other: Clean NPDB/file required. Provider will not be required to supervise Advance Practice Providers. No resident or teaching supervision required.
