Because when we do, survivors of a brain injury have a chance to thrive.This position supports statewide services and is based in the Denver Metro area.As Program Manager - Self-Management Services, provide leadership for the Self-Management program staff while also working face-to-face with clients in the region. This position serves in a mentor/coach capacity to develop or refine client skills, lead program development, evaluation, and reporting efforts and supervise program staff.Essential duties/responsibilities include:Client Contact: Provide guidance, support, and hope while problem solving and navigating resources to meet client needs.Supervision: Directly supervise the following positions (2 employees, 2.0 FTE): Advisor in Denver Metro Region and Advisor in the Southern Region. Supervise Self-management Advisors (indirect reports) in the Northern and Western Slope Regions as it relates to their Self-Management cases. These employees also serve as Resource Facilitators.Human Resources: With human resources, department directors and CEO, recruit, hire, onboard, and retain quality employees.Program Coordination: Direction: With department director, provide leadership and oversight for self-management.Data Management, Reporting and Evaluation: With Client Services Director, ensure timely, complete and accurate data collection, entry, reporting and evaluation for the self-management program.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience and minimum one year of experience managing a program and/or staff in areas relevant to the position.Experience teaching life skills such as: organization, financial management, healthy lifestyle, social skills, job skills, computer and internet usage.Experience working with people with cognitive disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.Access to reliable transportation for travel within the region this position serves as needed.Ability to travel occasionally to meetings and events within the state, sometimes after hours and on weekends.Other:Equipment used: computer, car, cell phone.Spend about 20% of time per week on travel to or from meetings with clients in their home communities.Access: stair, elevator.Travel: local, with occasional overnight travel to other locations.Work Hours/ Shifts: Varies, may occasionally include evenings and weekends.What We Offer You:A standard full-time scheduled work week of 35 hours.Paid Time off includes: unlimited vacation after 90 days of employment, paid sick/wellness time, paid bereavement and Jury duty.BIAC covers $500 toward our health insurance plans for employees, and covers the full cost for long term disability and life insurance, and we offer no cost Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Voluntary Benefits (employee paid) include: financial benefits offered include 401k and Roth IRA with a discretionary match up to 3%, Health Health Savings Account (HSA), dependent on health plan selection Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), dependent care FSA for non-medical expenses Training and professional development, waived registration and paid participation in BIAC's annual symposium.Training and Professional Development:Lifelong Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.ACBIS Certification: Become a certified brain injury specialist (training and exam fee provided by BIAC).Team building & cross collaborationsBIAC is a qualified not-for-profit organization for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)EEO StatementBIAC believes that a broad range of perspectives and qualifications contribute to our success, and we encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
