Sterile Processing Technician

Under direct supervision, the Sterile Processing Technician cares for, handles, and stores instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery, as well as processed goods for redistribution throughout the medical center. The technician assists Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, including maintaining competencies.

Care for and store surgical instruments and equipment.

Assist with sterilization processes and redistribution of materials.

Support Sterile Processing Specialists in various responsibilities and maintain team competencies.

Minimum of 24 months current experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (required).

Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years (required).

Previous travel experience (required).

Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required).

COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted) (required).

1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months (required).

1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months (required).
