Technician Position

Seeking a Technician to plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Maintenance & Reliability

• Maintenance work orders - Plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Testing & inspections - Complete verification, SOX witness inspections, and compliance tasks.
• Commissioning support - Support checkout and startup of new or modified systems.
• Construction assistance - Assist with project implementation and system integration.
• Documentation upkeep - Maintain accurate records, system documentation, and maintenance logs.

Troubleshooting & Repair

• System diagnostics - Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, mechanical, and process control systems.
• Instrumentation repair - Repair, calibrate, and configure instrumentation and electronic devices.
• Control software troubleshooting - Diagnose communication issues and process control software faults.
• Root-cause analysis - Analyze failures, implement corrective actions, and recommend long-term solutions.

• Gas compressor controls
• RTU/SCADA systems
• Gas chromatographs
• Generators
• Transducers
• Turbine and ultrasonic meters
• Gas flow computers
• Pressure regulators
• Air compressors
• Relief valves
• Controllers
• Motors & motor controls
• HMI systems
• Front-end displays

Documentation & Technical Support:

• Technical drawing interpretation - Review electrical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and manuals.
• Record updates - Update maintenance logs and work documentation.
• Cross-functional coordination - Work with engineers, operations, vendors, and contractors.
• Technical recommendations - Advise on maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.

Qualification:

• Technical degree in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Controls, Electronics, or related field (preferred).
• Vocational training in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial controls.
• Industry certifications such as electrical licensing, instrumentation certification, or controls training (preferred).
• Safety training including OSHA, PPE use, and industrial hazard awareness.
• Troubleshooting proficiency - Strong ability to diagnose electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Industrial safety - Demonstrated safe work practices in industrial environments.
• Technical interpretation - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
