Cardiovascular Rad Tech

Provides advanced cardiovascular care through diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. Operates x-ray and physiological equipment. Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Maintains equipment and records test results. Acts as a resource for specialized or complicated procedures. Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures. Provides protection to patients in accordance with radiation safety standards. Maintains proper sterile techniques for procedures. Operates, records, and maintains physiologic equipment. Responsible for all cardiac catheterization equipment, including reporting malfunctions. Assists physicians during special procedures and in the administration of opaque media. Completes appropriate forms for special procedures. Performs general office duties as requested. Keeps area stocked and cleans/disinfects equipment after each patient use. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Ensures compliance with vaccination requirements. Participates in E-Verify as a condition of employment.

Must have catheterization experience. License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R): Required Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License: Required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
