Description

he Buyer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, supplier relationship management, and procurement execution supporting manufacturing operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for vendor negotiations, purchasing activities, material cost management, and lead-time optimization. The Buyer will utilize ERP/MRP systems to determine purchasing requirements, manage inventory levels, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely material availability to support production schedules. The role works closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Sales teams to resolve supply chain challenges and maintain efficient manufacturing operations. Additional responsibilities include supplier performance monitoring, contract compliance review, vendor issue resolution, and maintaining qualified supplier databases. This position will also provide support for production scheduling activities, inventory planning, job order creation, and material tracking to help ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred. - CPSM, CPM, APICS, or equivalent purchasing/supply chain certification preferred. - Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience highly preferred. - Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and reporting capabilities. - Experience participating in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coral Gables, FL.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
