MedTech Field Service Engineer or Technician - Device Upgrade - West Coast
$27 - $32 per hourIQVIA
IQVIA seeks field service technicians and engineers to install, update, and maintain medical devices including infusion pumps at hospitals across the West Coast. This is a full-time travel position requiring 40+ hours weekly with regional and national assignments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and update medical devices, hardware, software, and network products at hospital facilities
- Provide technical communication and customer support to hospital staff on-site
- Conduct routine product testing, data collection, and documentation after installation
- Travel regionally and nationally to support customer assignments as scheduled
- Maintain high-quality product support documentation and submit daily data records
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent military training, or 3-5 years field service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with multiple software programs and remote technical support capabilities
- Active, unrestricted driver's license and personal vehicle for work assignments
- Professional communication skills and self-motivated work style
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods
- Hospital vendor credentialing clearance and current immunization requirements met
- Location within 1 hour of major airport on West Coast
Compensation: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
