Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Special Requests:- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.- Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity.- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details:- Nurse-patient ratios: Days 1:4, nights 1:5.- Cares for adult and pediatric patients with diagnoses including UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD.- RNs do not titrate drips; occasional electrolyte replacement, antihypertensive medications, and diuretics.- Occasional BiPAP is managed primarily by RT; no vents on the unit.- ICU monitors telemetry; Med Surg/Peds nurses apply telemetry to patients.- Charge nurse takes an assignment.- Pediatric patients are not managed by the hospitalist; a pediatrician is on call.

Shift&Scheduling:- Self-scheduling.- Weekends as needed.- No holiday requirement.

Floating Requirements:- First to float; may float to the ED or ICU for 1:1 assignments as needed.

9 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
