Now Hiring: Counter Sales - (Customer Service)

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Rate: Starting at $16/hr

Schedule: 5 days a week, rotating Sundays

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a busy vehicle salvage yard . This role involves assisting customers with purchasing used auto parts from salvaged vehicles, processing transactions, & delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate is customer focused, dependable, & has * basic automotive parts knowledge* . You will greet customers, handle transactions, & ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred & considered a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

Greet & assist customers purchasing used auto parts
Identify basic vehicle parts & guide customers to the right selection
Process transactions & handle cash/card payments accurately
Answer questions in person & over the phone
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
Maintain a clean & organized front counter area
Coordinate with yard staff to locate & pull parts as needed

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required
Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a major plus
Comfortable handling cash & operating a register/POS system
Strong communication & problem-solving skills
Dependable, team-oriented, & able to multitask

Work Environment

Vehicle salvage yard / auto parts setting
Customer-facing role with steady foot traffic
May involve walking outdoors & exposure to weather conditions
