Director Of FinanceOur client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to join its leadership team during an exciting stage of growth. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to build and shape the company's financial foundation from the ground up—serving as the primary owner of all finance-related functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will play a key role in driving financial strategy, leading forecasting and budgeting processes, establishing KPI reporting, and delivering insights that inform critical business decisions. As a trusted partner to leadership, the Director of Finance will have a meaningful voice in shaping the company's direction while building scalable processes to support continued growth.What You Will DoCollaborate with the CEO on annual and long-term business planning, budgeting, and operational analysis.Drive annual financial planning and rolling forecasts with the executive team.Provide financial support to department leaders, developing and managing models for accurate budgeting.Spearhead monthly financial and KPI reporting, analyzing trends in revenue, expenses, and employee count.Ensure data integrity among various sources, manage bookkeeping functions, and oversee audits.Manage customer billing, payables, and vendor relationships, addressing past-due collections.Lead the development of the finance department as our client's company scales.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline6+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in FP&A specificallyStart-up experience in an early-stage B2B SaaS-based companyExcellent proficiency in financial theory, forecasting, and financial accountingData-driven with exceptional quantitative analysis skills, including advanced Excel modelingOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic with an ability to focus on complex financial problems, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExperience with QuickBooks, HubSpot, a plus
