1st Shift Production Technician Location: Wiscasset, ME Hours: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM; 12‑hour rotating schedule (3 on / 4 off, 4 on / 3 off) Pay: $21.75/hr starting + $2.00/hr shift differential Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foam Perform quality inspections and testing, ensuring products meet specifications Accurately record production and quality data in computerized systems Package finished goods and prepare products for shipment Work closely with team members, maintenance, quality, and supervisors to meet production targets Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and efficiency Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP a plus) Ability to make sound decisions independently and with a team Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Standing and walking for most of the shift (75% or more) Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Close vision and color vision required Ability to wear a respirator Ability to work around industrial equipment; this role may not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers due to equipment exposure Benefits Weekly pay Paid breaks Benefits start day one 3 weeks PTO (accrual equal to 3 weeks a year) 10 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Paid parental leave Diversity and Inclusion At Mölnlycke, diversity is a core value.
