Behavioral Health Clinician II - Primary Care

Overview MaineHealth Behavioral Health is offering a part‑time Behavioral Health Clinician II position located at the Watson Health Center Primary Care Practice on the Miles Campus of Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta, Maine. The role is 20 hours per week, day shift, and includes an up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible clinicians. Responsibilities Provide screening, assessment and focused brief treatment to pediatric patients within the primary care setting. Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Offer curbside consultation to primary care providers and link patients to additional services and supports. Participate in population health activities targeting specific groups of patients. Collaborate with psychiatrists, other integrated clinicians, and primary care staff to optimize patient outcomes. Receive individual and group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterly trainings. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, addiction treatment, or a related field. Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). At least two years of behavioral health experience, including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician. Comfortable working with patients ages 3–26 and providing treatment to families.
