Business Developer - Healthcare

This role will be responsible for sales and the internal and external business strategies for generating and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, vendors, and partners in the commercial building world, specifically in Healthcare. This person will need to be strong at interacting with people and establishing strong relationships, especially in the healthcare market. This will be evident as you represent team at meetings, local functions, and tradeshows. Duties & Responsibilities Generate leads and expand market awareness regarding team in the healthcare building market. Identify opportunities, plans, executes, and measures results, including the tracking of leads in Salesforce. Provide strategic perspective by anticipating future business trends and translate them into tactical project acquisition goals. Establishes Regional Accounts with adjustors, general adjustors, risk managers, facilities managers, property managers, end users, contractors, and/or insurance carriers. Manage entire sales funnel to assure consistent flow of project opportunities. Maintains a high level of customer service and strong relationships. Monitor sales metrics (quarterly sales and annual forecasting). Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner. Develop and maintain current knowledge of industry trends, and competitive information. Work as a team with local and Colorado operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire team. Marketing Responsibilities Work with marketing to create and implement marketing plans in identified areas Work with leadership and corporate marketing to plan association involvement Sells and networks at tradeshow events and conferences Regularly attend company sponsored functions to maintain visibility Engage in speaking opportunities and seek opportunities for others that support and promote team Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent to. 8+ years commercial construction experience in preconstruction or operations preferred. Must become involved with local healthcare organizations, like CAHE, CHA or CAHED Understanding of the Healthcare market in Colorado, Wyoming, and surrounding states Must be able to attend networking functions, including after hour events multiple times per week. Experience in tracking sales related data and relationships. Demonstrates great work ethic and positive attitude.
