Bookkeeper

We are seeking a hands-on Temporary Accountant to support a busy finance team with daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end close. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Support general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review transactions for accuracy and resolve outstanding items.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash activity.
• Assist with payroll and employee expense accounting.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audit purposes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and record accuracy.
• Provide additional support to the finance team as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and quickly adapt to a new environment.
