In this role, you'll be responsible for processing payroll for multiple locations while ensuring compliance with payroll laws and providing excellent support to employees. Responsibilities:
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
- Calculate and process monthly commissions
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly
- Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent customer service
- Process employee garnishments and wage withholdings
- Monitor and process employee benefit and 401(k) changes
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding employee leave and other payroll-related matters
- Assist with additional payroll and accounting duties as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience required
- Automotive dealership payroll experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with Netchex payroll software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods during the workday
