Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:This position serves as policy management support to the Director of High Needs Supports to ensure the agency’s compliance largely with Developmental Disability (DD) policy and Brain Injury Services, in addition to other projects. Compliance with laws and regulations is critical to ensure that quality health services are provided to vulnerable citizens of the Commonwealth. This position is responsible for managing/directing an array of planning, performance measurement, evaluation, policy, economic forecasting, or research projects critical to the agency’s mission. It also may monitor other smaller special projects and programs (such as BI out of state placements) that impact the Department of Medical Assistance Services. The position, in turn, applies that knowledge of policy analysis, research methodologies, project management technologies, planning, performance measurement, and management principles and practices toward the improvement of programs and compliance with laws and regulations. This position may represent the Division Director in Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) projects and other external agencies pertinent to the projects related to complex policy, planning, performance, regulatory, and legislative matters.
