Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Neuro & StrokeThis position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on a MedSurg Neuro & Stroke unit. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing patients with neurology and stroke-related conditions in a fast-paced environment.Schedule Options:3x12-hour shifts4x12-hour shiftsOvertime is paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules. The position requires availability every other weekend, floating to other units, and working holidays as necessary. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:7. Candidates must be comfortable with this ratio and demonstrate readiness for the demands of the role.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of RN experiencePrevious travel experience is requiredActive Virginia or Compact RN license in handProficiency in Epic electronic health recordsExperience caring for neurology or stroke patientsRequired Certifications:BLS – American Heart AssociationACLS – American Heart AssociationNIHSS certificationCompliance Requirements:Candidates with any license or background issues will not be considered.
