Job Description
Job Title: X-Ray Technician

License: Active South Carolina license preferred
Certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, CPR


Must-Have:
- Fluoroscopy and OR experience
- Clienttion badge provided by agency


Description:
Performs radiographic procedures requiring a sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.
Demonstrates a high degree of technical competency and the ability to act with initiative and ingenuity with minimal supervision.
Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology.
Works a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, with no on-call rotation.
May float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs in various areas.
Weekend coverage may be required as per the shift details.
Must be able to document patient care accurately.
Candidate should have experience in operating rooms and fluoroscopy.
Travelers should be prepared to work during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
Emergency response duties may be assigned during hurricane events.
Module completion is necessary before the start of the position.
All requirements must be met prior to the start date.
Candidates with a pending South Carolina license will be considered if proof of application is provided.
The position may require flexibility with scheduling to accommodate facility needs.
