Location: Roseville, CA
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, various schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
Pay/Compensation: $175,200 - $264,800 per year

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is hiring Senior Physician Assistants for its urgent care and emergency services. These clinicians evaluate and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries as part of a physician-led team. Core Responsibilities
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
* Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
* Perform procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage
* Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice
* Coordinate with physicians and specialists for escalation and admissions
* Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care
* Document visits accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current NCCPA certification
* Active California Physician Assistant license, or eligibility before start
* Current DEA registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications
* Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care
* Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* Several years of emergency department experience
* PALS certification
* Experience with procedural skills in a high-volume setting
* Epic electronic health record experience
* Experience within a large integrated health system
